Council bosses took a landmark step towards improving the safety of private hire Limousines with the presentation of Shrewsbury and Atcham's first ever operator licence. 2XL Limousine became the first operator in the borough to register under an official operator licence. Licensing chiefs warned that other limousine operators without a licence are putting the safety of their passengers at risk. Members of the public who pre-book a limousine with 2XL can be reassured that the vehicle has undergone a comprehensive safety check and that 2XL has the correct public liability insurance cover.
